The head of the SVR pointed to the plans of Moscow's opponents to change power in Russia

Moscow's geopolitical opponents are annoyed by the greatness of Russia, its human and natural resources, they are hatching dreams and plans for a change of state power in the Russian Federation. This was stated by the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Historical Society (RIO) Sergey Naryshkin.

"We see that, just like 100 years ago, today's geopolitical rivals, opponents of Russia are still annoyed by the vastness of our country, its greatness, its human and natural resources. They are still harboring dreams and even plans for a change of state power, state leadership," he said during a round table dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the intervention and occupation of Northern Sakhalin by Japan, quoted by TASS.
