Tomorrow, May 15, the Russian delegation will be waiting for the Ukrainian side in Istanbul. This was announced today by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
"Indeed, the Russian delegation will be waiting for the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul on May 15, Thursday, that is, tomorrow," Peskov said.
At the same time, the composition of the Russian delegation in Istanbul will not be disclosed yet.:
"We will do it when we receive the appropriate instructions from the president. So far there have been no such instructions," Peskov said.
As EADaily reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered Ukraine to resume direct negotiations without preconditions in Istanbul on May 15. However, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, again began to put forward conditions — for Moscow to agree to a complete cease-fire on May 12, and only then he is ready to sit down at the negotiating table. US President Donald Trump has called on the authorities in Kiev to immediately agree to Putin's proposal for talks in Turkey. After that, Zelensky said that he would wait for the Russian president in Istanbul.
