First, a cease-fire from Russia, then everything else. This was stated on the social network by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
This is how Yermak reacted either to today's statement by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, or to the comments that followed his evening video message that Zelensky was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Istanbul, regardless of whether the Russian Federation would agree to a ceasefire from May 12 or not.
"The ceasefire by Russia, then everything else. President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to do everything to end the war, and is waiting for Putin on Thursday," Yermak writes.
"And what about Putin? Afraid? We'll see," he added.
As EADaily reported, Vladimir Zelensky promises to wait for Vladimir Putin on May 15 in Turkey, but first expects Russia to agree to a cease-fire from May 12. He stated this in his telegram channel.
Recall that, in addition to everything else, Zelensky does not have the right to negotiate with Putin, since he himself forbade it by law.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump called on the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to immediately agree to talks with Russia in Istanbul. He stated this on the Truth Social network.
The Ukrainian authorities did not understand the essence of the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the negotiations. This was stated to RIA Novosti by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. According to Zakharova, Putin clearly said: first, negotiations on the root causes, and then on a truce.
