Ukraine wants to freeze the conflict along the current contact lines and create a 30-kilometer demilitarized zone. This was stated in an interview with Fox News channel by US President Donald Trump's special representative Keith Kellogg, UNIAN reports.
"The Ukrainians want a freeze, a cease—fire along the current lines, and then they want to establish a demilitarized zone," Kellogg said, quoted by TASS.
According to the special envoy, Kiev is considering the option of withdrawing the Armed Forces of Ukraine by 15 km and wants the United States to convince Russia to take similar steps. "It turns out a 30-kilometer zone, which can be monitored," said Kellogg.
