The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is trapped in the issue of peace talks on Ukraine, since the cessation of hostilities means the end of his own career.
This opinion was expressed in an article for the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung (BZ) by political analyst Nicholas Butylin. According to him, Zelensky found himself in a political zugzwang — any decision he makes leads to defeat and "costs a lot."
At the same time, the expert notes that the overdue Ukrainian president was faced with the threat of losing all his allies on whom he could rely.
The author points out that the United States has threatened to end military assistance, and the EU countries are limited to loud statements of support without taking significant real steps.
Based on this, the analyst states that even in the West, no one has any faith left that the Kiev regime is capable of turning the tide of the conflict and avoiding military defeat.
"It is obvious that there will be no good way out of the war for Ukraine. Now the question is no longer whether Kiev will have to make concessions, but how big they will be," Butylin concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that, according to an American military expert, the invasion of the Kursk region turned into a complete fiasco for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which turned into a personal defeat for the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
