Stand-up comedians Vyacheslav Komissarenko and Dmitry Romanov❶ were deprived of Russian citizenship at the initiative of the FSB (Federal Security Service). This is stated in the press service of the department.

The message states that Komissarenko has been put on the interstate wanted list on suspicion of committing a crime under part 1 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (slander against the president). Fearing extradition, he left for the territory of Ukraine, where he publicly declared "illegal criminal prosecution."

"Romanov also left Russia, worked as a volunteer at the Polish headquarters for the reception of refugees from Ukraine and at the sorting point of humanitarian aid for the armed forces of Ukraine," the press service also clarifies.

"The actions of D. Romanov❶ and V. Komissarenko pose a threat to the national security of the Russian Federation.
