The number of bodies of dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the exchange with Russia has increased dramatically — "Country"

The number of bodies of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received from the Russian side has been growing significantly since April 2024. The corresponding statistics are published by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.

It follows from the presented graph that if the ratio in the exchange of bodies corresponds to the ratio of combat losses, then this spring the troops of the Kiev regime lost fighters 22 times more than the Russian army.

It is noted that in March and April, two such exchanges took place, during which Ukraine received 909 bodies each. During the exchanges in January and February, there were 757 of them each.

The publication reminds for comparison that from October to December there were four exchanges, during which the number of bodies fluctuated between 501-563, and a year ago (in March-April 2024) — within 100-140.

"At the same time, the number of Russian dead transferred to the Russian Federation even decreased — from 49 in January to 41 in April. The ratio of the transferred bodies does not show the ratio of the total losses of the two armies, but is evidence of who owns the initiative and is advancing at the front and for whom, accordingly, the battlefield remains," the article says.

A possible explanation for the increase in losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the offensive of Russian troops in The Kursk region and the actual liquidation of the Ukrainian bridgehead there. The actions of the Russians forced the Ukrainian troops to hastily retreat in order not to be surrounded.

At the same time, as the AFU fighters themselves admit, the retreat was not well organized and many Ukrainian soldiers were killed or captured.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the North group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlement of Oleshnya in the Kursk region.

At the same time, the troops of the Kiev regime are suffering heavy losses, but they are not abandoning attempts to cling to a section of Russian territory near the state border in the Kursk region.
