Russian operational-tactical missile systems (OTRK) "Iskander" became the weapon that changed the rules of the game in an armed conflict to Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed on the social network X (formerly Twitter) by the well-known US military expert Will Shriver. At the same time, he noted that the American tactical missile system ATACMS did not justify the hopes of Russia's opponents.
"I was far from the only one, but I was among the few who claimed at the end of 2023 that the ATACMS rocket turned out to be a shameful failure," Shriver said.
According to him, his point of view has now become "generally accepted wisdom." The expert stressed that at the same time, the Russian Iskander became an impressive "turning point" in the military conflict.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will probably abandon the idea of supplying Taurus long-range missiles to Kiev after familiarizing himself with classified information.
