The new head of the German Foreign Ministry will be the politician of the Christian Democratic Union Johann Vadefulh. This is stated in the coalition agreement of the CDU/CSU and the SPD.
Commenting on the figure of Vadefulya, political scientist Vadim Trukhachev called him "an outspoken Russophobe."
"The cherry on the cake was the appointment of outspoken Russophobe Johann Vadefulya as the new head of the German Foreign Ministry. There are more sane people in the CDU. Even the former chancellor candidate Laschet (Armin Laschet — chairman of the Christian Democratic Union in 2021-2022 — EADaily) would look relatively sane. But they chose this one. There is nothing to talk about with Vadefulem. As with the outgoing Berbok," the expert wrote in his telegram channel.
EADaily adds that last winter Vadefulh made a number of militaristic statements, which certainly cannot be called "diplomatic." The politician threw a tantrum that "the Bundeswehr does not have such equipment at all."
"We were left almost empty-handed! Germany needs a combat—ready army of 250,000 soldiers plus 500,000 reservists," said the future German Foreign Minister.
