The United States must move from containing Russia to defeating it globally. This was stated in a comment to the RBC - Ukraine YouTube channel by the deputy head of the presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak.
According to him, the 500% duty proposed in the United States for countries buying Russian oil and sanctions on the "shadow fleet" are, they say, no longer containment of Russia, but its defeat.
