Russia has started producing Zala drones with a serially built-in evasion system from Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones, model Z16. This is reported by Ukrainian military expert Sergei Flash.
According to him, a new interface module with two HDMI is used for this. The developers assume that the Zala will perform sharp evasive maneuvers until the Ukrainian anti-aircraft FPV drone runs out of charge.
"I remind you that the whole process is based on machine vision. The computer sees our drone through the camera and, based on its position, gives the command for one of the evasion maneuvers. Of course this is a challenge for us. What to do? Add our own machine vision system to our drones, which will respond to the evasion maneuver and finish off the Zala. In my dreams, the engineering rate would have to do this. Setting tasks to develop countermeasures one step ahead of the enemy," writes Flash in his telegram channel.
