In connection with the planned transfer of personnel and movement of military equipment in Kazakhstan from March 13, both by rail and on its own, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan appealed to citizens to remain calm and not to disseminate false information. The appeal is published on the official website of the department.
"In connection with the preparation and holding of the military parade in Astana dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, from March 13 it is planned to transfer personnel and move military equipment both by rail and under its own power. There may be temporary traffic restrictions on certain sections of roads in some regions of the country," the appeal says.
The ministry added that from April 22 to May 7, 2025, there will be short-term restrictions on the use of airspace for military aviation training flights in Astana, which is why changes in the flight schedule of passenger aircraft are possible.
"We recommend citizens to clarify information about flights in advance. We ask you to understand the restrictions imposed, refrain from spreading false information and contact only official sources," the appeal continues.
