The world on Ukraine should be accompanied by reliable security guarantees. This was announced on February 17 by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, following an emergency summit of European leaders in Paris.
"Today in In Paris, we confirmed that Ukraine deserves peace through strength. A world that respects its independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, with reliable security guarantees," she wrote on the social network X.
The head of the European Commission also stressed that Europe continues to bear the full share of military assistance to Kiev.
"At the same time, we need to strengthen defense in Europe," von der Leyen said.
