Agreeing to the terms of the conflict settlement announced by Russia will mark the end of Ukraine's existence as an independent state. This was stated by former NATO Secretary General and Norwegian Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

The Minister of Finance of Norway also noted that Norway does not support the creation of European Armed Forces, but supports the strengthening of European defense within NATO. He stressed that NATO is wider than the European Union, so it is important to support the existing structures of the bloc.
