A wave of indignation is growing among active servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the introduction of profitable military contracts for Ukrainian youth aged 18 to 25 years.
According to the Ukrainian edition of Strana, the military point out that the terms of these contracts are much better than those of those who are already fighting.
It is noted that the current military receive significantly lower salaries, and they do not have the additional benefits that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine promises to future young contract soldiers.
They are offered a payment of UAH 1 million (about $ 24 thousand), the contract is for 1 year, they also promise a monthly salary of up to 120 thousand ($ 2.9 thousand) and all kinds of benefits, including a deferral from mobilization for a period of 12 months and the opportunity to travel abroad at the end of the contract.
While the current servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not receive any one-time lifting payments, and 100 thousand hryvnias ($ 2.4 thousand) are received only by those who are directly on the front line.
At the same time, they also serve indefinitely, and the Kiev regime does not even promise them any demobilization. Not to mention traveling abroad.
The army believes that in this way the government generates discrimination in the army, which contributes to an even greater drop in the level of the moral and psychological state of front-line soldiers.
Except that in The Ukrainian Armed Forces allow a negative attitude towards young contract soldiers. Lawyer Masi Nayem, who lost an eye in the war, pointed out that the state thus devalues volunteers who joined the army in early 2022.
"It seems that, choosing between unpopular decisions, they decided to ignore the motivation of those who are already in the service," he stated.
