The preparation of an assassination attempt on the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, and even the very discussion of such plans is a crime. This is a direct way to start a nuclear war.
This was stated in his Telegram channel on Wednesday, January 29, the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. Thus, he commented on the statement of American journalist Tucker Carlson.
He said in an interview with blogger Matt Taibbi that the administration of US President Joe Biden "tried to kill Putin." And former US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken promoted this idea.
"A day has passed. Everyone is silent. Neither Biden nor Blinken refuted what was voiced," Volodin stated.
He called Washington's similar plans "the most serious threat to global security", opening "a direct path to the outbreak of a nuclear war."
For all international institutions, this should be the basis for the proceedings," concluded the speaker of the State Duma.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin called the European Union a prison, noting that its member countries do not have the right to make decisions on their own.
