At an informal dinner hosted by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, the heads of the Scandinavian countries discussed the statements of US President Donald Trump about Greenland and the new world order. This was announced on Sunday, January 26, by TV2.
The dinner was attended by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gare Stere and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
"I can repeat the message of the Kingdom: Greenland is not for sale, and we want to keep our commonwealth (Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands) as long as Greenland wants it," Frederiksen said.
The Prime Minister also noted that her government maintains contacts with the new administration in Washington and discusses security issues with it in The Arctic region.
