"West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by about 1% to below $75 per barrel, while the global benchmark Brent dropped below $79. Earlier, WTI increased by 0.7% to $ 76," the agency reports.
As reported by EADaily, Donald Trump will seek from Saudi Arabia and OPEC lower oil prices, including to put pressure on Russia in connection with the Ukrainian conflict. The US president stated this in his video speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
