Rapper Eljay (Alexey Uzenyuk), who escaped from Russia, due to accusations of drug propaganda, was unable to sell tickets for his concert in Thailand. He announced the cancellation of the show on his social network page.
"Phuket, we failed to realize our plans on the island, despite all our attempts, and I don't want to do it haphazardly. Tickets can naturally be returned. Soryan once again, I also really wanted to see you all," the artist wrote.
It should be noted that Rita Dakota (Margarita Belogai), a member of the Star Factory who left Russia, was also scheduled to perform at the same venue before LJ's concert. She complains about problems with ticket sales, but has not canceled her concert yet.
"The website with tickets says that they are all sold out, and the "buy" button simply does not work. But even if there are 300 of you, I promise that I will work as if you are a whole stadium," Dakota wrote.
As EADaily reported, activists drew attention to the artist's work in connection with the announcement of his participation in the Blueberry Music Fest music festival, which was held in Novosibirsk on June 15-16 last year. The local Ministry of Culture noted that the venue of the festival — Arena Park — and the organizer of the festival do not belong to subordinate institutions. Social activists found in the texts of Eljey signs of an offense under the administrative article on the propaganda of narcotic and psychotropic drugs.
In 2021, under the same article, the rapper was fined 100 thousand rubles.
