The project of Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova did not receive funding from the Presidential Grants Fund. This is evidenced by the data of the official portal of the Foundation.

The status of the application appeared on the Scarlet Sails ice show project page: "the project has not received support."

At the same time, the winner of the competition was the project of the Olympic champion Tatyana Navka "Evenings on the farm". The amount of the grant amounted to 29.54 million rubles, the volume of co—financing - 134.76 million rubles. The Navka ice show is planned to be shown in St. Petersburg from September 2025 to February 2026.

"Evenings on the farm" — a bridge between upbringing, education and entertainment — helps viewers, especially children and teenagers, to get acquainted with classical literature and folklore in a fascinating and accessible way, developing interest in reading and studying culture. Visual and emotional perception through the show makes literary works more understandable and intimate for viewers, contributing to their cultural and intellectual enrichment," the project's rationale says.

As reported by EADaily, the ice show "Scarlet Sails" was planned to be held in St. Petersburg from January to August 2025. The project required funding in the amount of 74.798 million rubles.

The application emphasized that "Scarlet Sails" by Alexander Green is a work that has become part of Russian culture, embodying the ideas of love, devotion and beauty of the soul. The reinterpretation of this literary history into an ice show is not only an opportunity to get acquainted with the classics in a new format, but also a way to preserve and pass on its values to the next generations.
