Permission to strike deep into Russia with American ATACMS missiles, issued by US President Joe Biden to Kiev, does not apply to Moscow and St. Petersburg. This was stated in an interview with Fox News channel by American Congressman Mike Waltz, the future national security adviser in the administration of Donald Trump.
So he commented on the strikes inflicted by Ukraine with ATACMS missiles deep into the Russian Federation.
"They (Ukraine. — Ed.) hitting military depots and take-off fields… They are not aimed at Moscow or St. Petersburg," said Waltz, quoted by RIA Novosti.
He called Biden's resolution another step towards the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict.
