The Russian military captured 22-year-old Briton James Scott Reece Anderson on the territory of the Kursk region. The Troika telegram channel has already published a video of the interrogation of a foreign mercenary.
"After being dismissed from work, I applied on the website of the Foreign Legion of Ukraine. I lost everything, my father was in prison, there was nothing to lose. I decided to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but it was a bad idea," the Briton admitted.
Anderson's date of birth is May 24, 2002. Previously, from 2019 to 2023, he served as a private in the 22nd Regiment of the 252nd Communications Squadron of the British Armed Forces. The Briton got to Ukraine through Poland, arriving in Krakow from London. The mercenary crossed the border near the settlement of Medyka.
