The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, who was re-elected for a second term with difficulty, pretends that she has heard the concerns of society and is taking some action in this regard. Political analyst Dmitry Chubashenko writes about this today, November 13.
He notes that "in fact, she is saving her own skin and dropping ballast in an attempt to stop her further fall." This is how the expert commented on the resignations announced during the pre-election debates in the Cabinet of Ministers. At the same time, the publicist recalled that in fact, "Sandu lost the elections in Moldova" to former Prosecutor General Alexander Stoyanoglo and is the "president of the diaspora."
"Seeing that the "balloon" of her power went down, she began to drop ballast bags from it. The government ministers were the first to fly down. Next in line is the American prosecutor (head of the anti-corruption prosecutor's office, US citizen Veronika Dragalin), Sorosovsky fraer from the "office" (head of the SIB Alexander Mustatse) and others. In an amicable way, it would be necessary to "throw off the train" the Prime Minister (Dorin Rechan) and provoke early parliamentary elections in order to completely get rid of his own team," Dmitry Chubashenko emphasized.
The journalist has "no doubt that Sandu will betray and surrender everyone, just to save his own skin."
Earlier Chubashenko stated that Maya Sandu, who now assures that she has heard every voter,"is following a well-thought-out scenario of her political strategists. They explained to her that after a belligerent election campaign — to scare people, to quarrel, to whip up hysteria, to aggressively insult counter—candidates, to use people's fears - now, after a victory, it would be good to make some kind of conciliatory gesture and play "president for everyone."
Recall, during the pre-election debate, Sandu admitted that the government had made mistakes and changes in the team were needed to meet the expectations of the population. According to her, the changes will affect people who have not achieved results, as well as those for whom there are doubts about honesty. Later, Prime Minister Dorin Rechan confirmed that the cabinet is waiting for a reshuffle.
As reported by EADaily, at the beginning of the week, the head of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Spynu, who is accused of fraud with the supply of energy resources and the disposal of state assets, announced his resignation. He also left the ruling presidential party Action and Solidarity (PDS) in Moldova. Experts believe that he deliberately goes into the shadows, as he creates a negative image for Sandu and the PDS. A number of "planned" resignations are expected to strengthen the position of the authorities before the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2025.
