Law enforcement officers detained the deputy head of the rear of the Rosgvardiya, Major General Mirza Mirzaev. It happened on the territory of Moscow, as reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"The Major General has been arrested until January 2, 2025," the source informs.
According to investigators, Mirzaev demanded 140 million rubles from the company supplying modules for prefabricated buildings. Otherwise, he threatened to break the contract for 480 million rubles. When the company transferred the required funds through an intermediary, Mirzaev was detained.
The detainee's defense tried to insist on house arrest, but the judge ordered a stay in jail, since the crime could have been committed during the SMO.
