Russia and Ukraine exchanged the bodies of servicemen according to the formula "501 to 89". This was announced by State Duma deputy, representative of the coordination group on military operations Shamsail Saraliev.
Kiev handed over 89 bodies of fighters to Moscow, and Russia handed over 501 bodies to Ukraine, Saraliev said, without going into details.
The bodies of 501 dead soldiers have been returned to Ukraine, the Ukrainian coordination headquarters reports meanwhile.
"382 of them died in the Avdiivka direction, 56 in Bakhmut, 45 in Maryinsky, 7 in Lugansk, 6 in Ugledarsky, 4 in Zaporozhye. One body was returned from the morgue on the territory of the Russian Federation," the Strana newspaper writes.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian Defense Ministry released information about the next prisoner exchange with the Ukrainian side, as a result of which 103 of our military were released.
As part of the exchange, Russia transferred 12 Azov and Kraken special forces soldiers to Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets.
