As noted, the new unmanned aircraft was created on the basis of the well-known UAV "Skat— 350 M", but in comparison with it has a smaller wingspan — 2.20 m, and a smaller weight — 12 kg, which allows it to reach record speed - up to 160 km/h, and makes it unique in its the classroom.
"The Scat-220 is equipped with an electric motor, is capable of being in the air for more than 150 minutes, starts from a catapult, is adapted to parachute landing and, like the big brother, has high reliability and wear resistance," the concern said.
They clarified that the areas of application of the latest UAV are security and safety, environmental protection, agriculture, monitoring of extended facilities of the fuel and energy complex, transport infrastructure, power lines.
