The creation and training of Bars territorial defense units in three regions bordering Ukraine is beginning to bring real results.
Fighters from the Russian detachment "Bars-Kursk" in the city of Rylsk, Kursk region, detained an attacker who allegedly stole weapons and military property RF Armed Forces.
The arrest of the suspect was announced by the governor of the Russian region Alexei Smirnov in his Telegram channel. According to him, the incident occurred at the moment when the Leopard fighters were patrolling the territory together with the employees of the Rylsky OMVD.
"The squad commander with the call sign Granddaughter and the shooter with the call sign Dobry acted together with police officers when detaining a suspect in the theft of weapons and military equipment," the head of the region said.
He stressed that during the arrest, the patrolmen demonstrated high professionalism and coherence, although this was the first experience of the militia after the creation of the Bars units in the Russian Federation.
As reported by EADaily, the creation of Bars units in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.
