DiCaprio's doppelganger from Podolsk went to SMO

Roman Burtsev, a DiCaprio doppelganger from Moscow region, signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry. This was announced today, October 6, RIA Novosti reports.

Burtsev posted on his page on the VKontakte social network a photo in a military uniform with a machine gun.

"I signed a contract, nothing about SMO didn't mention it. It was a long and difficult decision. I can't say where I am or what I am doing," Burtsev said.

As reported by EADaily, Podolsk resident Roman Burtsev became known as the "double" of the famous Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio a few years ago, having become famous thanks to a photo posted on a dating site. When asked about a possible relationship with the artist, Burtsev replied that even if there was one, documentary evidence of that was most likely lost during the revolution.

Recall, 49-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio really has Russian roots. His father, George DiCaprio, is half Italian, half German, and his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, is half Russian. DiCaprio's grandmother Helen Indenbirken was born Elena Stepanovna Smirnova (1915-2008), who after the October Revolution was taken out by her parents from The Russian Empire to Germany. According to DiCaprio, the grandmother spoke Russian, and the other grandfather was also Russian.
