Laws are urgently needed: crime among migrants in Russia continues to grow

Since the beginning of this year, the migrants in Russia made more than 26 thousand crimes, the increase in the number of serious acts amounted to 12% — the number of crimes committed by illegal immigrants has increased almost 3 times. This was announced at a meeting on issues of crime, which was held by the Chairman of the TFR Alexander Bastrykin.

For eight months the number of criminal attacks from labor migrants increased from 5868 to 9708. From 7 thousand to 11 thousand increased the number of crimes of immigrants who have received Russian citizenship less than a decade ago. Since the beginning of the year, migrants have made in 73 extremist crimes.

The meeting stressed that many of the visitors to justify drastic action of their own religion. They are often hostile to local, including the participants and veterans SMO, and also to militiamen. In addition, the meeting discussed the aggressive behavior of migrant children in schools and on playgrounds, violations of sanitary standards in catering and threats on the roads due to the dominance of foreign drivers.

Bastrykin stressed that all facts of illegal behavior of migrants require a clear response from law enforcement officers. He instructed the heads of territorial divisions report to the heads of regions on the situation of immigration crime, as well as to provide constructive interaction with the heads of internal Affairs bodies.

"Take this problem seriously! Analyze the situation with immigration crime, understand the causes, react to changes, turn-ons criminal cases, do not let criminals run for the border", — summed up the head of Department.

As reported EADaily , this week, the state Duma will consider five bills on the improvement of migration policy.

According to the speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, the bill proposes to admit the Commission of a crime by a person staying illegally on the territory of the Russian Federation, the aggravating circumstance.

"To be a particularly serious crimes, the organization of illegal migration committed by an organized group or for the purpose of committing a grave or especially grave crimes. To set the punishment of deprivation of liberty for a term of eight to 15 years; a fine of 3 to 5 million rubles; deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions," — said the speaker.

It is also proposed to establish measures of increased responsibility for the forgery, manufacture or trafficking of fake documents for crimes related to fraudulent registration and registration of foreign citizens.

"For it will be provided for the punishment of deprivation of liberty for a term from two to six years; for legal entities — a fine of 5 to 10 million rubles with confiscation; for the repeated Commission of 10 to 60 million rubles with confiscation", — said Volodin.

It is planned to introduce extrajudicial blocking of Internet resources containing proposals on the provision of illicit services for migrants and the implementation of forged documents to immigration status and to establish a complete ban for intermediary organizations to participate in the examination of migrants.
