The wife of the head of the Kiev regime of Vladimir Zelensky, Elena, in New York is engaged in an incredibly important matter - "returns to Ukraine the artists that Russia appropriated." The first Ukrainian lady wrote about this in her telegram channel, calling it "the decolonization of art."

"Culture is our mental space," Zelenskaya justifies her actions.

She stressed that since the beginning of the special military operation of Russia on In Ukraine, the world's leading museums "have finally, for the first time, justly signed the works of Aivazovsky, Kuindzhi, Malevich with their real, Ukrainian origin."

"Today we continue the decolonization of Ukrainian art in New York," Zelenskaya rejoices.

In New York, she noted, the works of Ukrainian, not Russian or Soviet modernists are now presented. In particular, we are talking about the works of the "father of Russian futurism" David Burliuk and his colleague in the Moscow "Society of Chairmen of the Globe" Maria Sinyakova.

As EADaily reported, Zelenskaya had previously talked about her work on the "Ukrainization" of European museums. Wherever the wife of the Ukrainian president appears, she starts demanding an audio guide in Ukrainian everywhere. At the same time, she insists that there be no Russian-speaking guides.

"But we were persistent and always said: "The main thing is not the quantity, but the quality of tourists." You have to do it," she urged cultural institutions, for some reason considering Ukrainian tourists better than others.
