Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya has won a legal dispute with People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov about the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. This is reported by the joint press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

"The court found the information disseminated by Philip Bedros Kirkorov and contained in the video material on the YouTube information resource in the publication "Philip Kirkorov about a double, hatred of women and power in showbiz" to be untrue, discrediting the honor, dignity and business reputation of Uspenskaya Luba," the report said.

Kirkorov must refute the information disseminated in the interview and compensate for moral damage. The press service does not disclose the amount of compensation.

However, on her social media page, Uspenskaya reported that the amount of compensation for moral damage amounted to 90 thousand rubles, which is 20 thousand more than Kirkorov won earlier from Assumption Street.

"For me, it is of fundamental and illustrative importance that Kirkorov's honor and dignity were rated lower than mine. His moral damage was estimated at 70k (!) rubles, not 280, as some media outlets write. There is justice, and I am very pleased with the court's decision!" the singer wrote.

As reported by EADaily, the consideration of Kirkorov's claim to Assumption completed at the end of July this year. The court decided to recover about 280 thousand rubles from Uspenskaya in favor of Kirkorov: 70 thousand rubles in compensation for moral damage, 85 thousand rubles — to pay for the services of a representative, as well as 120 thousand rubles — for notarial support of evidence and 6 thousand rubles of state duty.

Each of the artists claimed claims in the amount of 10 million rubles.
