The situation for the American corporation Boeing is very acute, and the collapse of Boeing will be a major blow to both the US economy and the military machine, overloaded with conflicts around the world. Political scientist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.

The shake-up of the US aerospace giant Boeing has flaunted all the systemic sores of the American military-industrial complex. Over the past few years — 2022, 2023 and 2024 - Boeing has managed to incur huge losses from military contracts. And even a conflict on Ukraine did not help him.

Dozens of KC-46 tanker aircraft ordered by the Pentagon, the company cannot bring to mind. Fuel pumps refuse to work normally, the remote vision system is malfunctioning. In the production of these unfortunate aircraft, Boeing suffered losses of $ 7 billion.

The T-7A training aircraft, which have been developed since 2018, was planned to be put into operation in 2024 - the deadlines have shifted to 2028. Their ejection seats do not work, there are problems with aerodynamics. And, of course, a lot of defective spare parts were found.

And the most revealing is the scandal with the condition of the presidential liner Air Force One. Corrosion has been detected on board. It is too expensive to service the liner — it also brought Boeing losses of $ 1 billion, and it is even more expensive to make a new one, and even that one will appear no earlier than 2027.

A lot of problems arise with the production of fighters — F-15EX and F-18. The situation for Boeing is very acute, since the corporation has already lost two-thirds of its capitalization, losses exceed $ 30 billion, and then workers began to strike en masse. The collapse of Boeing will be a major blow to both the American economy and the US military machine, overloaded with conflicts around the world.
