Singer Alsou intends to sue her ex-husband Jan Abramov for money for a penthouse in London, which she sold a few years ago. This is reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
According to TK, Alsou received money for real estate outside of England, and now intends to claim the entire amount from her ex-spouse.
"At the same time, the apartment was sold for 8 million pounds, and its current value is estimated at 15 million pounds," SHOT notes.
The apartments in London were sold 8 or 9 years ago, that is, in marriage, Alexander Dobrovinsky, Abramov's lawyer, commented on the situation. According to him, some, indeed, use a certain scheme to earn money from housing sold earlier in marriage.
"For example, if the property was sold at an allegedly undervalued price, especially if the lawsuit is filed in a country unfriendly to Russian businessmen. In addition, sophisticated lawyers often try to prove that the money never reached the addressee," the lawyer explained.
If the representatives of the Alsu prepare a lawsuit, they still have to catch Abramov in the UK to hand over the document. Only then, Dobrovinsky stressed, the case will be able to be considered in a London court.
"The situation resembles the court case Berezovsky v. Abramovich. In 2007, Berezovsky caught Abramovich in London at the Hermes store, throwing a summons at his feet. According to British law, in such a situation, the summons is considered handed over," the TC summarizes.
As reported by EADaily, the singer Alsou, who previously filed a lawsuit on the division of property with her husband Jan Abramov, put up for sale a luxury apartment in the center of Moscow. This was reported by the portal Super.ru .
The publication claimed that Alsou is selling an apartment on Nikitsky Boulevard with an area of 247 square meters. The apartment has three bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen-dining room, an office, a hall with a dressing room, as well as a sauna. The apartment is furnished with antique furniture and decorated in neoclassical style. It was clarified that the apartment was donated to Als by his parents on coming of age.
