The units of the Kiev regime troops began to leave their positions on their own and withdraw from the emerging cauldron in the Kurakhovsky direction.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", referring to an informed source in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
According to him, the Ukrainian troops began to withdraw to avoid encirclement. Since the military command was unable to send reinforcements to contain the Russian troops, there was a threat of a real encirclement and it became pointless to hold positions.
The danger for the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to grow, as the Russians are already storming the Miner. The source of the channel explained that the capture of this city will allow the Russian army to occupy a large territory on the eastern front and launch an operation to capture Kurakhovo.
Russian sources generally confirm this information, reporting the beginning of the assault on the Miner. They point out that with its fall there is a prospect of reaching the rear of Kurakhovo, which may lead to the collapse of the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the forces of the Black Sea Fleet disrupted the operation to capture the Russian self-lifting drilling rig "Crimea-2" in the Black Sea by the Ukrainian Naval Forces (Navy).
