The Russian star of the 90s and zero Alexander Makhonin, who performs under the stage name Mr. Credo, was accused of fraud due to failure to attend a concert in Kazakhstan. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.

"Suarg Astana has agreed with Alexander Makhonin (the real name of the artist) about his participation in the retro-fest in Astana and Almaty on July 13-14. He put up a price tag and agreed. The money was transferred in cash in two installments in Mahonin's apartment — without any contracts and receipts, this was the artist's condition. The organizers believed, fulfilled the requirements," the publication says.

July 13, Mr. Credo did not come to the festival, saying that his Russian passport had expired and he could not cross the border. When asked to return the fee in the amount of 5.4 million rubles, he refused. Allegedly, the organizers did not fulfill some of the rider's requirements. The artist did not explain exactly what requirements were violated and disappeared.

"Later, representatives of Suarg Astana found information on the Internet that Makhonin was banned from leaving the Russia because of debts on taxes and fines. Now Credo is getting in touch, but refuses to return the money. The police have started checking," the telegram channel reports.

During his career as Mr. Credo, the musician has released eight studio albums (two more records were released as part of the groups Aspect and Credo), four compilations and six video clips. Many compositions remained unreleased. Now Mr. Credo continues to write music, give concerts and tour.
