Rescuers found the bodies of 17 people at the crash site of the Mi-8 helicopter in Kamchatka. This was announced today, August 1, by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
"At the moment, 17 bodies have already been found. The search continues," the report said.
Nine rescuers of the search and rescue squad are working at the site The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory. Earlier, the operational services said that, "judging by the nature of the destruction of the helicopter, there are no survivors on board."
According to preliminary data, there were 22 people on board: 19 passengers and three crew members.
