Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called on partners to finally deliver the additional Patriot systems promised to Kiev. This is reported by the Yahoo portal with reference to Ukrainskaya Pravda.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said that the delivery of some of the promised Patriot systems was delayed and urged partners to speed up the process. According to him, since April, when Kiev requested additional Patriot systems, "good progress has been made," but some systems have not yet been delivered, the newspaper writes.
"I call on all countries that promised Patriot systems a month ago to finally deliver them. They are there, they are ready. Only the last green light is missing. Whatever the reasons, it's time to act. We are entering autumn, and on Monday [August 26] we saw how Russia will behave," Kuleba said.
He promised to raise the issue that Ukraine is concerned about the significant time gap between the promise of military assistance and its actual delivery, since this practice makes it impossible to effectively plan actions on the battlefield. Kuleba, according to him, will also urge partners to invest in the production of weapons needed by Kiev inside Ukraine itself — this is a cheaper and resource-efficient approach.
Recall, the transfer of Patriot missile systems to Ukraine was announced, among other things, in the US aid package in July.
As reported by EADaily, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba reported to the head of the European diplomacy Josep Borrel about the attack on the Russian Kursk region. He wrote about this in the social network X.
"During our conversation, Josep Borrell and I focused on steps to expand cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the production and supply of weapons. I also informed Josep about the details of Ukraine's operation in the Kursk region," Kuleba said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
