The Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, proposed to the political leadership of the Kiev regime to launch a flank attack on the advancing Russian troops on Pokrovsky direction.
This was reported on August 29 by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", referring to its own source in the Ukrainian General Staff.
The generals believe that this is the only way to turn the situation in Donbas in their favor. And this can still be realized while the troops of the Kiev regime control the road to Konstantinovka from Pokrovsk.
The preliminary plan is for two groups to launch a flanking strike from the north against the advancing Russian forces in the Vozdvizhenka area.
However, the channel's interlocutor said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Eastern Front do not have enough heavy equipment and reserves to carry out this flanking strike.
Earlier, Syrsky, following the order of Bankova, not only used reserves for the offensive in the Kursk region, but also removed part of the brigades with equipment from Konstantinovka and Pokrovsk.
So in order to stop the Russian advance in the Donbas, it is necessary to suspend the Kursk operation. The Ukrainian General Staff insists on a quick solution to transfer forces back to Donbass in order to prevent the front from falling apart.
Earlier, EADaily reported that during the storming of Selidovo, our units began the battle for the administrative quarter of the city.
