Four servicemen of the AKHMAT-Chechnya regiment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and two border guards from the beginning of the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, almost completely surrounded, held their positions until they ran out of ammunition, after which they left and took 40 more conscripts out of the ring. This is reported by military correspondent Boris Rozhin.
For almost 20 days they made their way through the forests and enemy barriers until they reached their own — the Chestnut group from the Akhmat special forces, they overcame several tens of kilometers, the military correspondent notes.
"On the set, six of our fighters, who since August 6, since the invasion of the Ukrofascists in the Kursk region, were on one of the sections of the border. Four of them are servicemen of the AKHMAT—Chechnya regiment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and two border guards. They held their positions, although they were almost completely surrounded. Despite the complexity of their situation, these fighters repelled numerous enemy attacks until they ran out of ammunition. After that, they left in order not to be captured, and took 40 more young conscripts out of the ring with them. For 18 days together they made their way through the forests and enemy barriers to our units," Rozhin writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, the conscripts "have already been handed over to their commanders," and the guys from AKHMAT-Chechnya will have a little rest and return to the front lines.
