In the Kursk direction, the strategically least important for Kiev, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer twice as many losses as in others. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British expert Alexander Mercuris.

The losses of the Kiev regime's troops in the Kursk direction are very high and at least twice as high as in other areas, the expert said. At the same time, he called the clashes in the Kursk region the least strategically important for Kiev.

"Ukrainians are suffering very serious losses in the Kursk region. They are making attempts to carry out new attacks in order to break through, but they are not succeeding," Merkouris stressed, quoted by RG.

As EADaily reported, groups of troops "Belgorod", "Kursk" and "Bryansk" will be created in Russia. This was announced on August 20 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at a meeting of the coordinating Council for military security of border territories.

According to him, the requested number of quadrocopters, anti-drone guns and drone detectors, wearable electronic warfare equipment, small-sized power plants, ATVs, as well as thermal insulation capes have already been delivered to the Kursk region. Receiving radio stations, radio interference complexes and drone countermeasures for the Bryansk region is under the control of a special task force to collect, analyze and route issues at the National Defense Control Center.
