As EADaily reported, groups of troops "Belgorod", "Kursk" and "Bryansk" will be created in Russia. This was announced on August 20 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at a meeting of the coordinating Council for military security of border territories.
According to him, the requested number of quadrocopters, anti-drone guns and drone detectors, wearable electronic warfare equipment, small-sized power plants, ATVs, as well as thermal insulation capes have already been delivered to the Kursk region. Receiving radio stations, radio interference complexes and drone countermeasures for the Bryansk region is under the control of a special task force to collect, analyze and route issues at the National Defense Control Center.
