The fighting in the Kursk direction, as well as the special military operation as a whole, will be completed in the next two to three months, said the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apty Alaudinov.
"I think that in the next two or three months it will be completely over, and not only in the Kursk direction, but the entire SMO," he said in an interview with Chinese military correspondent Lu Yuguan.
Military operations near Kursk have been going on since August 6.
