The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the start of negotiations with Russia on the exchange of prisoners of war. This is reported by the Financial Times newspaper.
Kiev will seek, first of all, the return of representatives of five categories of prisoners of war. They were listed by the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov❶.
According to Budanov❶, they will try to exchange:
1. Seriously injured and sick.
2. Women.
3. Those who have been in captivity for a long time.
4. Captured on "Azovstal".
5. The Crimean Tatars.
Such priorities are set according to the decision, he stressed, without specifying who made this decision.
