A family from the USA thanks for asylum in Russia: Here we are like in a rescue ark

The head of a large family from the USA, Leo Lionel Hare, thanked Russia for the opportunity to stay in the country. He explained that for normal Americans this is a unique opportunity to escape.

"I want to thank the Russian government and the Russian people for the opportunity to come to your country. We are determined to use this opportunity for the benefit of our family. I feel as if my family has been placed on a rescue ark, where we are safe. This is very important. Thank you so much!" — says Leo Lionel Hare on the video in the TC of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

He also added that he wants to personally thank Russian President Vladimir Putin for making Russia such a wonderful place for all families to live in this modern global climate.

"In the future, Leo and Chantel plan to obtain Russian citizenship, realizing that in our country traditional values are protected by the state. They say that it is safer here, the level of education is better, support is provided to large families," the release says.
