The Ukrainian Armed Forces unit launched a counterattack, but was blown up by its own mines — Marochko

The servicemen of the Kiev regime operating in the Kupyansk direction as part of the unit launched a counterattack in the area of the village of Peschanoe through their own minefield, as a result of which some of them died.

This was told on social networks on Wednesday, August 7, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.

He explained that during the counterattacking actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Peschanoe, a group of Ukrainian militants (up to a platoon), reinforced by one unit of Western armored vehicles, reached their own minefields.

"Without carrying out mine clearance, the attack aircraft immediately went on the offensive against our positions. As a result of reckless actions, the Ukrainian command lost an armored personnel carrier and up to a quarter of its personnel due to explosions on its own anti-tank and anti—personnel mines," the veteran said.

As a result, the counterattack choked, about ten more militants were killed by military personnel. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the help of small arms.
