The AFU F-16 fighter, seen today, August 4, over Odessa, flew away towards Moldova. This was reported by the coordinator of the Nikolaev resistance Sergey Lebedev.
"They are reporting the flight of the F-16. It is, of course, interesting, but it is more interesting where they are charged, refueled. After arriving over Odessa, he flew towards Moldova," Lebedev wrote in his Telegram channel.
As EADaily reported, last week there were suggestions that NATO could use, among other things, an airfield in "neutral" Moldova for its own purposes. In particular, a member of parliament RM from the opposition bloc "Victory" Vasily Bolya said that Chisinau agreed to deploy NATO infrastructure on the territory of a constitutionally neutral republic.
"I admit that in the near future, for example, the airport in Marculesti may be used for the deployment of aircraft The EU or NATO," Bolya said.
Commenting on this, the head of the Russian State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, said that F-16 fighters and airfields outside Ukraine, where they are located, will become a target for the Russian military if they participate in combat sorties.
