Missiles of foreign air defense systems, which Ukraine uses to protect its skies, are extremely expensive. The price of Western missiles of all kinds varies from $30,000 to $3.7 million apiece.
This is reported by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN, referring to the infographic of the publication "Word and Deed". It follows from it that the cheapest is the Czech Vampire MLRS missile, which is an analogue of the Russian Grad.
And the most expensive missile supplied by NATO countries is the American Patriot, which is now used as the main air defense system.
The size of the super-profits that Western arms manufacturers receive from the Ukrainian war can be judged by the fact that a shot from a conventional MLRS sample of the 70s of the last century costs a decent car.
A shot from the Stinger MANPADS of the Soviet war in Afghanistan costs the Ukrainian budget almost half a million dollars.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Verkhovna Rada announced the figure of Ukraine's daily expenses for the war. It is about 5.6 billion UAH.
