Journalist Evan Gershkovich, sentenced in Russia to 16 years in prison for espionage, is returning to the United States as part of an exchange. This was announced today, August 1, by Fox News channel.
According to a number of media outlets, Vadim Krasikov, accused in Germany of murdering Chechen radical Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, and German mercenary Rico Krieger, who received a pardon from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, are among those ready for the exchange.
There is no official information about the exchange yet.
