In Africa, a well-known military correspondent with the pseudonym "Gray Zone" died with the fighters of the Wagner PMC.

According to the telegram channel "Russia without context", in the north of Mali, local separatists attacked the soldiers of the PMC Wagner, who were trying to capture the city of Tinzauatin. Tuareg separatists staged an ambush, as a result of the attack, in addition to the military correspondent, several "Wagnerites" were killed, as well as members of the Malian armed forces.

The Gray Zone military correspondent had a Gray Zone telegram channel with an audience of more than 500 thousand people. The last picture from the channel is dated July 23 with the caption:

The telegram channel "Caution, news" claims that the deceased blogger's name was Nikita Fedyanin. He was only 31 years old.
