The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris continues to resonate in the media space, overgrown with new negative comments.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban joined the general chorus of critics of this event. He shared his opinion on this issue at a speech in the Romanian city of Baile-Tushnad.

In his speech, which was broadcast by M1 TV channel, Orban said that the Paris show demonstrated the West's lack of a common moral basis.

"The West has already decided that nation-states no longer exist. Therefore, they deny that there is a common culture and a common morality based on it. There is no common morality — if you watched yesterday's opening of the Olympic Games, you could see it," the politician said.

He stressed that the countries of Central Europe defend the preservation of nation-states. And they are based on values arising from common moral principles, which are built on a biblical basis.

The opening ceremony of the OI-2024 was held in Paris on Friday evening, July 26. The most negative reaction in the world was caused by the show of transvestites who portrayed Jesus Christ and his apostles at the Last Supper.

Earlier, EADaily reported that conservative circles in the West regarded the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris as evidence of the collapse of civilization and Christian culture in Western Europe.
