The opening ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games ended in Paris. For the first time, the athletes' parade was held not at the stadium, but on boats along the Seine River.
According to the plot of the ceremony, a parkourer with a masked face received the Olympic torch from the children to whom Zinedine Zidane gave it, and ran with it through the city center and its main attractions to Trocadero Square.
Artists such as Lady Gaga, Aya Nakamura, Joe Duplantier, Celine Dion, Moulin Rouge dancers and others performed in different places on the Seine Embankment.
The Olympic flame was lit with the arrow of judoka Teddy Rineru and track and field athlete Marie-Jose Perec.
The Olympiad will end on August 11. Of the Russians, 15 athletes will be able to perform in neutral status, RBC reminds.
